Radiation Thermometers come in many shapes, sizes, names and capabilities. One simple way to categorize them are by the measurement type, i.e. spot, line or area. The area-measuring radiation thermometers are popularly called quantitative thermal imagers. This list below includes standards for thermal imagers as well as infrared "Ear" Thermometers. The standards we know the best are those published by ASTM . We shall be searching the Web and the Net for more details.
