STANDARDS FOR LIQUID IN GLASS THERMOMETERS

Glass thermometers are among the oldest and still the most widely type of thermometer used in laboratory work and in households to determine fever temperature in humans. The first standard issued by ASTM on thermometery was standard E1. It is still in force, updated every five years. The standards we know the best are those published by ASTM . We shall be searching the Web and the Net for more details. If you can add to this page, just email your information and we will include it as we are able to verify and edit the page.
